Question:

I need help with a charcter in my book!!!?

For some time now I've been stuck on what to make a critical character in my novel like.
One of the main characters, Ayamesu, was just found out to be married. He is supposed to reunite with his wife in the next chapter, and I sadly have no clue what to make her like. I still need a name for her, too.
Notes:
Ayamesu's marriage to her was arranged the day he was born. (A few months before she was even born, at that.)
Ayamesu never liked her one bit, the reason being that he was in love with someone else.
Ayamesu dominates the marriage because of the men-in-charge tradition of their family.
Both Ayamesu and the woman he married are royalty.
She is completely oblivious of that fact that Ayamesu never loved her.
She is beautiful.
Ayamesu is stern, strict and stands aside until really needed in situations. In other words, commonly mistook for being cold-hearted and unloving.
So I need some help with deciding the name and personality of the woman. Any thoughts?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Maybe you should make her obsessive or possesive. She thinks she should have whatever she wants. She thinks she owns Ayamesu. She's aware of how beautiful she is and uses it for her own good. Just suggestions. If you want physical qualities, too, how about giving her ink-black, wavy hair and hazel eyes?

From the name "Ayamesu" I'm thinking that you'd want his soon-to-be wife's name to be exotic. I hope you like these:

Akiko - I like that name
Aiko - means "love" I think
Kumiko - part of it means "long time" which goes with the whole reunion story
Midori - it just means green, but I think it sounds pretty =)
Natsumi - It has something to do with being born in the summer, I think
Arroya - I just made that one up
Jayde - I like that name, too

Hope I helped you and good luck!
