Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Deborah Kass is a very influential artist from the 90's who is still written about, taught, and bought all over the place. The catalogue for her traveling show "Deborah Kass The Warhol Project" has amazing essays by Robert Rosenblum and Linda Nochlin and Michael Plante and more.
She's kind of a cult figure.
Evidently she is having her first one person show in NYC in a long time this fall at Paul Kasmin Gallery. I can't wait, since I am a huge fan.
