Anyone know if there's a sequal to the book Gathering Blue?

Okay, I just finished the book Gathering Blue by Lois Lowry, and I cried, it was fabulous, but Lois just can't leave me hanging like this, what happens to Kira after her father leaves??? So, if there are any readers that know of a sequal to this book, please just let me know!
