Question:

In the Order of the Phoenix, the Order was guarding the Dept. of Myst. entrance right?

So why was no one there when Harry and his group entered to save Sirius? Shouldn't Mrs. Weasly or Lupin or Tonks have been guarding the door and stopped them from entering?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Yes, you are correct. The Order was guarding the door to the Department of Mysteries. It is quite strange that there was no one there guarding it at that time. It appeared to be that they had someone guarding it all day and all night, so why not that night? Another thing that's strange is that there was no one in the Ministry. Not a single soul, except (of course) Harry, Ron, Hermione, Ginny, Neville, Luna, and twelve Death Eaters. There weren't any security wizards or anything of that sort.
