Who has read Eragon and Eldest?

Who has read Eragon and Eldest?

I really liked the way the author built up the Roran character in Eldest. But I really got bored in some of the sequences involving Eragon's training.........boring. I hope the next part of the Trilogy is more tightly woven.

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Yes, I agree! Roran's part of the book was a little more interesting. I was furious when Murtaugh turned out to be evil. I liked him as a character! I was also mad at Eragon for pretty much saying they weren't related. I mean, yes, he's evil, but his own brother telling him "not, i don't want to be related to you so i'm not" would surely make him more mad. I believe Murtaugh has a chance. I mean, look at the way he let Eragon go alive! Perhaps he'll see the light in the third book.
