Looking for a book, nonfiction involving Freemasons and or freemasonry.?

Long story short... Last year around August or September i had read a book review in the Plain Dealer (Cleve. Newspaper). I did not catch the title nor the authors name. I know for certain that freemason was not at all involved in the title, and may have not been the main focal point of the book. I do remember it did sound interesting hence my search for it. I have done searches at local bookstores and even online. Maybe i have overlooked it. If this does sound familiar, and or by chance you have read or heard of the book, i would like the title and or author please. Or a link that may point me in the right direction. Thank you.
