Who is an artiste?

Who is an artiste?

these days i begin to ask myself, do we actually have as much artiste in the world today as we have been meant to believe? i think every one can be a dancer, musician, writer, actor, painter and all other forms but that hasn't authomatically made us believe we are Artists, Artists are like prophet and not all will be a prophet... most so called artists today are just making a business out of ART. what do you think about my believe?
