Question:

Does anyone know the title and author of this horror novel?

I can only remember part of the story I think it was it was set in a large old mansion which had been used as a psychiatric hospital. When the hospital was closed down the mansion was turned into a guest house unbeknownst to the guest the residents of the psychiatric hospital were still there behind the walls and they attack the residents.

I have been trying to find this book again for years without success. Any ideas anyone?
