Looking for a book about silent movie era i read in middle school?

It was about a girl in her teens whos home is used by a group of film makers in the 1920s. The star of the movie was Clara Bow I believe and the young girl falls for one of the guys on the movie crew and gets to be an extra, maybe. I read it around 1993-1995. I absolutly have no idea what it might have been called. Pleae Help!!!!!
