Cross Processing?

I've recently taken two rolls of Kodak 400ASA 36exp film at my brother's wedding. I took the photos with the aperture setting quite high (For low light situations) and at varied zoom settings, and the 400asa setting on my Lomo Lc-A.
I would like to know the risks involved with x-proing this film, is there a chance I could lose my photos? Like a high risk?
I obviously don't want to fanny around with something risky when these photos are so important. Should I just get them normally processed and then edit them in photoshop later?
