The Sturgeon Fish is headed for extinction because pretentious westerners are trying to be"european". They pay amounts so large that developing world just poaches the fish to sell on the black market as 1kg can fetch USD$30K. The fish are caught and gutted to retrieve the eggs. Is it possible to let the fish live and harvest "some" of the eggs so the speices can survive?
