Question:

Communication question...?

how would you explain written communication?

Would it be through chat rooms, email, AIM, letters?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: This is everything from an instant message to a novel. Anything that comes to you in the form of a written message that you understand is "written communications." Be this viewed on paper, electronically, or some other visual medium -- as long as the context of the message is written it falls into this category.

This form of sending a message has helped us reach stunningly far back into the past and has preserved some of man kinds most vital achievements. From Egyptian hieroglyphs, to the Rosetta Stone, to the New Testament, to the Declaration of Independence, to the plaque attached to the now far flung Voyager One.

Surprisingly a good deal of important "verbal communications" starts out as written communications. Almost all presidential speeches, political speeches, newscasts (radio or television) start out as written drafts for the speaker.
