What's the difference between deep base and pastel base paint?

What's the difference between deep base and pastel base paint?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: A deep base would be a deeper hue of a color, like a midnight blue, or a very dark gray as apposed to just blue or gray respectively. A pastel base paint would be a lighter hue like baby blue, or a light, almost white gray.

Hues are different variations of a color. Take red for example. Red is a primary color. Maroon would be a deep base color and pink would be a pastel color. Get it? Good luck!!
