A listless wonder
A flicker of light
Once I was a fire out of control
Now I am forgotten by all

Those who knew me
Have moved on with their lives
I??m like a shadow
That creeps through the night

Once there, now gone
I no longer exist
Not a trace or memory
My face has faded into the crowds

Frozen in a moment
Covered with ashes and sentiment
Calling from the outside
Unable to break through

Maybe in due time
I will arrive
My dessert walk will be over
Maybe but maybe not
