How do you get animations to... well... animate?

Question:

How do you get animations to... well... animate?

I know a lot of computers do the animating these days but I was wondering how it's done. Can it be done on a regular old windows computer? What sketches do you have to do to make animations work? What about voice acting? How do you get the lips to match the voice?

you'll need a lip sync program for that. yes it can be done on regular old windows computer but you won't be able to make a high resolution render.

by the way anim8or is free :) so is wings 3D and Blender they are all free 3D programs that has animation capabilities, all you need to do is read their tutorial file to learn the program and you'll get the answer to your question,

lip sync however is something more "advance" needing special programs to make it work. otherwise I suppose you have to do it manually.
