Why are people working as mathematicians, physicist or IT experts thinner than the rest of population? It is because thin people are clever or because clever people don't eat much? Or something else? What is the cause and what is the result? What is your opinion? Or it's all nonsense?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Thin nerdy people are generally not good at sports. In order to compensate for their lack of athletic ability, they invested their time and self esteem in intellectual pursuits, thus making them excell in math, science, and computers.

Everyone has to "shine" somewhere to feel good about themselves.
