How clever are you? What am I talking about in this poem?

Seeking that challenge to further enrich my brain,
Struggling, with torment, distortion and strain.

Ego, pride, conceit, please focus my friends,
We try to see clearly through that rose colored lens.

Such extreme exertion without too much force,
Fuzzy to the senses, ambiguous and coarse.

Equilibrium is missing but seems within reach,
It??s not words, articulation, dialogue or speech.
