Jane lived alone
Solo she dined
After her meal
She was shot from behind
Her husband was caught
A confession he signed
Lead away by the Sergeant
He was quickly confined
To a cell of his own
With dust and dirt lined
Regretting his actions
For freedom he pined
Now he sits alone
Where no-one is kind
"An eye for an eye
Makes the whole world blind"
