Is money the root of all good and all freedom?

Hitler didn't like money, nor the socialists, and what they did, they stole our freedom. However the capitalist system, that is based on greed and money, has given us freedom and better standards of living. Should we give the devil (money) it's due?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Money is a medium of exchange. What we do with that medium that has "bad" ramifications is the vice. Coveting and greed seem to be real vices/source of social discontent.
