Question:

What's new about the 17th edition of Macroeconomics by McConnell compared to the 16th edition?

One of my courses requires this book and I'm trying to get it for as cheap as possible. Of course the older editions are cheaper, but do they have the same information and chapters? Is there more of something or less of something?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: I looked it up on Amazon and it seems to be a different format than the 16th edition:

"The 17th Edition builds upon the tradition of leadership by sticking to 3 main goals: help the beginning student master the principles essential for understanding the economizing problem, specific economic issues, and the policy alternatives; help the student understand and apply the economic perspective and reason accurately and objectively about economic matters; and promote a lasting student interest in economics and the economy."
