Need some help picking a logo?

alrighty so i have to run this incentive program at work about this new denim launch and im basically creating a questionare (about denim) that ill ask my coworkers at random moments givin them points... but thats not important..

..i'm amking a logo for the game and im calling it simply: " Denim [the game] "

that links to what i can think of for a logo, but im not sure what i think. i'm obviously going for the simpler look, and i kinda want to inculde the vertical-ish type. However, im not sure about the placement of the v-type, and im not 100% on the colour...

.. any tips would be appreciated, even if you know of a better font, that would be great (btw im using Calibri, with font #279be5)
