About the anime expo?

I'm going to the anime expo this friday with a friend, and I've never been there before. Does anyone know some of the main activities you do there about anime?

well, if you're only going the first day the main events that are the opening ceremonies and the AMV contest. But there are always things going on in the Main Exhibit Hall. You can walk around see all the different cosplayers, and some of the booths are usually holding cosplay events.
