Has anyone seen "The Tempest" in Manchester with Pete Postlethwaite at Manchester Royal Exchange Theater?

i really struggled with it and can't say I got it not enjoyed on moment of it - and the appluase seemed polite at best at the end....if that is a measure of anything.

Your experience? Is this just one of Shakespeare's less accessable plays to begin with? Od was this just a noisey convoluted production?

i didnt really like it either
felt it was hard to get into
I read the script and it sounded like it could be a good show with a good cast
but this one was just sucky
some of the people i sat with walked out at intermission!
