Question:

How do I make a chinese pagoda out of polymer clay that is large enough for a wedding cake topper?

I need this to be fairly sturdy and about 4" by 4" at the base and about 6" tall. I have purchased the clay (Fimo soft). Do I need to use wire inside the pieces to add strength (like you would for figurines)? I would appreciate any help I can get with this.

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: you can use foil or wire for support or toothpicks anything that wont burn in the oven and can be overlayed with fimo. But it would be better to support it. although fimo and sculpy is very hard when it is baked. you can also go to diy.net and they have lots of ideas in the craft section for fimo...hope it helps
