Who thinks harry potter is an extremely boring and is harmful for young readers and fans??????

I don't like the harry potter books or the movie series it is very boring...and encourages people (mostly children) to begin to look into witch craft and leads them to believe they can be all powerful (w/ magic or whatever!!!) maybe even more than God himself!!!!

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: it doesn't make kids "look into" witchcraft or the occult. the books state very plainly that witches and wizards are born, not created by studying. if anything, it makes kids wish they had magical powers, and honestly, all kids wish they had magical powers at one point or another. if having magical powers/super powers was not something you wished for as a kid, then you're one of the few. how are the powers mastered by the characters in harry potter any different than the powers of, say, batman, spiderman, or superman? i mean really, spiderman was bitten by a spider to get his powers but you don't hear people saying that kids are trying to get bitten by spiders to have spidey senses. lighten up. it's just a story.
