Question:

Why is it that destruction is easy to cause ?

Yet to build or rebuild requires hours and hours of hard work
for anything(talking in general)

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: "Destruction" is sudden release of the stored energy.

Like ,
you save money for years but can spend in hours or minutes,

you lift (hand carry) 10 water buckets to 10th floor and may take one full day , but all water can be spilled in one minute,

You built a house through your life long savings but one bomb destroys it in seconds

Wars destroys cities in days or couple of months what generations took hundreds of years to build.

The message in the above examples is

Creative work ( like saving, lifting water, building a house, or city) is slow and long lived, but destructive work ( like un-wise spending savings, spilling water, destroying cities in wars) is comparatively easy and short lived.

That is why destruction is easy to cause than reconstruction..
