fantasy book?

Question:

What do you expect in a good adventure/fantasy book?

I just love to write and I really want to write a book and I want people to get in to it and not to have the same subject as the other books and movies.

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: It has to have plot changes you wouldn't expect that make your reader gasp. Try this: A woman in her early twenties is the main character. A man comes knocking at her door late at night. She realizes that he is her old childhood playmate, from a distant country she ran away from. When they were children they witnessed the king of the distant country being murdered. He found her so they could bring the murderer to justice because the country has fallen under the killers demise. You can set the time in a fantasy world!
