Question:

What sub-culture would Alibrandi belong to in the novel, Looking for Alibradi?

Please, i have to write a (hypothetical) letter to a friend who belongs to a sub-culture...ie: emos, surfers....and write why the Novel Looking for Alibrandi would appeal to them.

Or any other text that applies to the question...i can't seem to find the right text to write on.

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: she doesn't really belong to a subculture... that's kind of one of the themes of the book, right? that whole search for where you fit it, or where you belong?
Probably the closest subculture would be a wog-girl. well, actually, a girl who's trying *not* to fit that wog-girl sterotype? that's what I would do.
hope this helps :)
