Question:

Which ECHOES farther, a GOOD NEWS or a BAD NEWS?

& which one is the loudest, & which becomes rapidly volatile?
:-)

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: I'd wager that most people would say BAD NEWS. Perhaps individually as well as universally. That the sensationalism in whatever "high" this gives them, is readily provided by the media. I wouldn't presume to opine on the % of people who are like this, nor do I believe it's a "tendency" in human nature. I'm interested in world affairs, & national (natural) catastrophes. I can choose them online, & do NOT watch TV. Within my circle of freinds, we enjoy sharing good news, & from first disclosure, the echo seems endless. We "choose" good over bad, (as anyone can, & this doesn't mean denial). Good news has very strong energy, bad (depending on the degree), actually wears thin & anemic. Even boring, when it's something over which we have no control. To be as unbiased as possible, echoes travel good or bad to the extent of our positive or negative attitudes.

Edit: Thank you Dolphin & Banshee for sharing your postive attitudes, in what seems a stream of assumptions & negativity.
