Question:

Do you think there were any "civilizations" before the last Ice Age ended?

I have been hearing crazy theories about ancient civilizations that existed 10,000 years ago and that collapsed after the Ice Age ended. People attribute to this ancient civilizations legends and ancient texts such as the Indian Vedas. Could this be possible or is it just fantasy?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: There were undoubtedly Large groups of people whom were of homogeneous social structure, there for a civilization.

Additionally, there is the evidence off the west coast of India , in the Gulf of Cambray, of a large developed city which during the Ice Age would have been on the coast. It was covered after the warming melted the Ice-Age polar caps and the seas rose to near their current level.

o what other possible cities and civilization could we find in the Future? Our mythologies around the world are filled with Old Civ or sunken city stories, why not more than one?
