Who is a better philosopher Plato, Aristotle or Confucius?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: i would have to go with the poor man's philosopher confucius. confucius never really attempted to explain the universe around him. he was never a methodical thinker like plato and aristotle.but many men would easily pick confucius because aside from the fact that there are 1.1billion chinese in the world today confucius' brand of wisdom is much easier for the common man to grasp and live by. his wasnt the kind that boggles but rather guides. his wasnt the kind that attracts refuters but rather invites to look at life more simply. on the other hand, most of plato and aristotle's worldviews though brilliantly constructed and admired by academe are now outdated and wont stand the serious scrutiny of modern day philosophers. plato and aristotle though brilliant in their own right did not achieve what confucius had attained- and that is to give timeless valuable lessons in life.
