Question:

What makes a Good Children's Book?

As a kid I always Hated reading, nothing was fun or exciting..When my kids were little I found really good books that usually Taught good lessons, but I see a lot of HP books and don't always agree with the message....So what is more important a good book with morals and values that kid help the kid throughout life, or putting ideas that don't exsist out there instead?????

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: I am not sure. It is important to teach good lessons, but little kids don't have the maturity level that say teens do, to learn deeper things. I think developing their imaginations is probably just as important. Here are some good books that very subtly teach good lessons, yet manage to entertain at the same time.
Also, a good children's book must have good pictures!!!
