With the info. I know is there a way of tracking my family tree?

I know my dad's 1st and last name I know what year he died I know where he is buried I know I know my name (of course) I lost the 1973 family tree book and my uncle said that (at that time) they ONLY tracked it down to Germany in late 18??

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Libaries usaully have geneology rooms. You can look up census the latest 1930. In 2010, they release 1940's. I hope you have more info then just your dad.

Also like the person above said, get the death cert. Then go to the county he was born and get his birth cert. Since you are his son you can get that info. Also you can do the same on your grandparents. From there www.familysearch.org can help.
