Question:

What do you think of my poem?

The Dryer

This house is full of people
I'm still lonely though
They peer through rooms and through the peepholes
Talk to me but still don't know
It's warm and dark inside my thoughts
I dare not wander to the back
Deep within my soul I've bought
An empty warehouse where I stack
Lonely memories down aisles of black
I'm lying on a pile of clothes
shuffling feelings no one knows
I close the door to the laundry room
Turn out the lights in my empty tomb
It feels just like an empty womb
Lying down upon the drier
At any moment she'll walk in
At any moment to inquire
She'll ask about my secret sins
Why let machines rock you to sleep?
And protect the secrets that you keep?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: I think you are a very sensitive person, only a bit pessimistic!
I tell you my first thought: it could be a song, did you try to put it on music?
A very interesting rock song it would be!
