Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: there is something that is needed to be understood. The schizophrenic mind is basically the normal human mind with all of its human characteristics (eg intelligence) greatly enhanced at the cost of some of the basic animalistic functions, such as cohearant thinking. It is the extreme human brain. They are not technically mentally ill (which is a very loose term) but this extreme mind does not communicate well with itself. They are actually superior to a so called "healthy" person in many ways. Their (generally) superior intellect and often a lack of empathy can cause them to believe that they are superior and must save their "inferiors". However saying that all are like this is a gross generalization.
