Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: I believe so. We can transcend almost anything, but it takes time and deep contemplation.

Exploring the event from the other person's point of view (no matter how much you may despise them) is a key element of this. They were coming from a position of weakness and lack or they would not have treated you the way they did.

When someone treats you poorly, you are automatically more at peace than they are. After all, why would an omnipotent entity treat you badly? Would God be rude to you? Of course not. He has no weakness or lack to lash out from.

We should feel sympathy for the angry soul that is rude or mean to us. They have no peace in their core.

We don't approve of the behavior, but we can see that they have done the best they can, and they have shown their shortcoming. Pray for them. Pray that their lack of peace doesn't find you.
