I'm only a kid- but I would like to become an animator. Does anyone know a good way to start?

A lot of people think I'm really talented when it comes to drawing anything. I love art, especially cartoons. I'm always drawing- whether it's a random object in my house or even people. And I really, really wanna be an animator! So, does anyone know a good way to start in this business? Remember- it has to be something a kid can do (taking classes, submiting drawings, etc.) I want to become an animator sooo badly!!!

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Take lots of art classes (keep a record). Not just at one studio either, make yourself known in your area. Perhaps work at an art studio or maybe, if available, be an intern. Do a summer program at an art college (like SCAD, Montserrat, or AI of Boston). Make sure to take AP Studio Art in high school. These are just a few tips to keep in mind.
