Question:

How do you discuss philosophy with your children?

I told my 8 years old son that a man is never really free.
When he (or she) is just a child he has to do what his parents are asking,
When he has a job, the boss tells him what to do.
When he has a life partner he has to organize his life according to his wife (or husband).

My son surprised me :
"Mum, you know what is the secret to be free?
TO WANT TO DO THE SAME THINGS THAT THE OTHERS WANT YOU TO DO"

(Sorry if my English is not so good - I am happy if you understand what I wanted to tell you - I am Romanian an still learning English)

you should enroll that kid in some kinda 'philosophy for kids' class or something....or at least teach him the basics like Descartes or whatever...but of course playing kickball is also just as important.

p.s. ur english is FINE!
