Question:

Why do we kill for our ideologies, our beliefs? cant we each believe what we want without imposing it on.....?

others?
Why do we need these things?
Is it somehow to find stability and security in a world which is dynamic, impermanent, a world where we are unable to find thruth?
We will murder great numbers of people to keep some kind of order in our society, to make sure that we keep people obaying our picture of reality, we will kill for our beliefs in god or gods etc.
For what?
Religions and political ideologies,
there all the same.
Do we really need to be so extreme inorder to have order, and where does one draw the line between keeping order and just being a victim fear, insecurites, greed, lost in madness hungry for power, etc.? what is power but a need to control things, to have security in a world where we have little or no control, nothing concrete to attach ourselves with. ??
Could it be that other ideologies threaten our identity, our identity being a creation of our culture, traditions, ideologies. So our very being is threaten

sorry english is not my mother tounge.

without our identity we feel lost and empty. It takes alot of work to go into life asking questions, exploring and being open for a broader understanding. Who we are I would think is up to us to find out, not someone telling us who we are, right?
Could this feeling of emptiness be what we run from, because it is eaiser to accept ready-made identities, they give us the illusion of security we seek....????
Hence the need for power.
why do we feel the need to protect ourselves from others at all cost?
are we really so dangerous to ourselves?

Could it be that we will go to extremes just to provide basic survival need, water, food etc.
Could most of the earths people not be provided with these things?
we certainly have the technology to provide for it, so why must we keep on killing, going to wars. I mean I doubt its for the basic survival needs, or what do you think?
