Question:

Would you read this short story?

I have an idea for a short story (could become bigger than that). It involves a future war between China and Japan that involves both Koreas and is told from the Chinese and Japanese prespectives. The casus belli would be the assassination of a Chinese diplomat in South Korea by a radical Japanese terrorist sect, which brings about an attack by North Korea on the American garrison on the peninsula. Japan keeps America outof the war by allying with South Korea and penetrating North Korea, which brings China into the conflict. It results in the invasion of Japan, which is then repulsed and results in the invasion of China by Japan which becomes the 3rd Sino-Japanese War. This story takes place in the near future (maybe 50 or so years from now). I am curious as to who would read this story.

In response to the fourth answerer: this story will not involve a lot of politics, but will deal a lot with the battles involved. It also shows personal beliefs from the Japanese and Chinese forced to fight in the war.
