Richard William Bellinger, died 01.04.1919 aged 66
mine collapse....i am looking for any reports of this accident, old photographs or inquest reports...can any one help ?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: William Bellinger (1853 - 1919) was killed April 1st 1919 aged 66 years due to a pit accident by the fall of stone.

This link has a photo of the cover of the cards that were given out at the time of death. William Bellinger lived in Scarth Street, Lingdale. He was a ironstone miner in North Skelton pit. His daughter Beatrice Annie Bellinger married Albert Richard Wesson of Scarth Street, Lingdale, Albert was also a miner. They had a son Kenneth Wesson who was also born in Scarth Street, Lingdale (Bills father).
