Question:

Did anyone ever think that maybe, just maybe....?

Hagrid is not as innocent as we think he is?
in the first book when he is explaining things to Harry he refers to Voldemort. and he tells Harry that "he wouldnt dare attack the castle [Hogwarts]. Not just yet anyway."
and then in the 6th book, Hogwarts gets attacked.

there are some other random things slipped into the books that made me consider this....it is just a theory. i don't want Hagrid to be bad, but you never know.......
