Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: I think she will kill of Dolores Umbridge because Rowling said she was going to "have a little more fun with her." Also, Dolores has no redeeming value, and is usefull to neither Harry's side nor Voldemorts- she's too much a stickler for the rules to survive.

And i also have this nagging feeling that poor Hagrid will not survive. I hope im dead wrong on that.

I also think Voldemort will die-- permanently-- because Rowling is not making more Harry Potter books. So voldemort will be dead. I cant see Rowling letting him survive in the end, after everything Harry's been through and because he is, as she stated, "pure evil".

But i dont think any of the trio will die, per se.

She said a character got a reprieve, but two others died that she didn't intend. This tells me that they can't be central to the plot- they are characters with smaller roles, like Fleur or Dean Thomas. However-- many people have taken this and misquoted it to say only 2 people will die in book 7. But this is not true. We have no idea how many characters will actually die.

And I think Snape will die. He is such an enigmatic character, but I think he will redeem himself, as Rowling has indicated. I think the best way for the readers to see a conclusive end to Snape's story will be with him sacrificing himself for Harry.
