Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: I would tend to believe that it is equally true -- or even more so -- that when we shift our awareness (consciousness?) to encompass possibility, that we instantly focus on love...?

Also while the statement as written is applaudable -- as written it assumes that one has the ability to both focus and recognize what love is and/or what to love, etc.

Most people's definition of love is what may be termed as "love of the personality" -- which on account of "the personality" is changeable, temporary or "illusionary".

So, if we focus on this kind of love -- and as it will -- it changes -- then where are we as it relates to the possibilities that we shifted our awareness onto? Do they persist, or evaporate with the love we were focussing on?

The odds are that they disappear along with the love we thought we knew, understood, and recognized.

I believe it to be both error and illusion to depend upon something that most of us probably do not correctly understand (or practice or have experienced) as a motivation to do with our consciousness (awareness) that which we need to do in order for us to encompass the possibility; which will lead us know how to love, what to love, etc.

I believe that the very definition of the type/kind of love that is eternal, real, and enduring IS that love which encompasses possibility.

And what kind of love is that?

It is the type/kind of love that is often described as "spiritual love" -- "love of the soul" -- "the pure love of Christ", etc.

All other love is merely a preparatory step to this 'higher love'.
