Is it possible for me to learn to do a split?

Question:

Is it possible for me to learn to do a split?

I am very thin and tall, But I can't seem to do any type of split.Feels like I need a little bit more to get there but I just can't seem to do the whole entire split not even the sideways one.
Should,I try and become more flexible first?

Any advice.
Is it possible for me to learn to do a split in a month or two?
