Question:

What is the most serious thing you had to change about yourself in order to achieve what is most important?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Years ago I was charged with public nudity. I was found guilty of such because one night with a fraternity I decided to piss on a car in a parking lot. Cops tackled me like I was a terrorist. And what little evidence I have, no one could have even seen Oscar Meyer. This matter prevented me from getting jobs I don't know how many times. I fought like hell to get it off my record because I don't want to be listed as a sex offender for taking a piss 3:30 in the morning in a parking lot of a bar. I know, I know, it was my responsibility, you are preaching to the choir. But I digress, it was a wake-up call.

About a year after the event, I made my mind up to be an adult. I no longer drink, smoke, or curse. And it has very little to do with religion. I realized that I wanted a family, a career, a life worth living, and in order to do such I had to grow up quickly. Surprisingly, it was not that hard. I started setting goals and attacked them like a piranha on a feeding frenzy. Now everyday matters.

I am now married to the most beautiful woman on the planet, have Sir Gawain on the way, and make excellent money in real estate. I do what I want when I want. I travel. I donate to charity. I live, for myself, and for those I love. Each day a new goal is set, and Lord willing, I accomplish it. I am the luckiest person alive, and all would not have been if I wouldn't have gotten arrested...
