Where do you find artistic inspiration?

By artistic, it can be any kind of art. Whether it is painting, cooking, music, or filming. What inspires you to express the things which you express?

I enjoy writing more than anything, and I often find my literary inspiration from within me. I know It sounds kind of lame, but I really do. I write about things I have on my mind, and about how I feel about certain issues. I also get inspired by nature, because it calms me down and helps me think clearly.

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: For me, my artistic inspiration comes from the sky. At any point of the day, it is already a painting. Blended with hues and shades of every color, the sky is a masterpiece, forever changing, creating new art. It is truly beautiful. The sky is living art. Sometimes, i will just lay outside at dusk and just look at the sky. It expresses freedom i believe. It changes how it wants, like a mood ring changing with the feelings.
