Where should i look if i want to find out info on my house if it was built between 1830 and 1920?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: MCMKRL is right. My house was bulit in 1891 and the county property tax office had records of owners going all the way back. It was tedious going from one book to the next, but I got a list of owners and sale dates going back to 1890. For this property (in the country) I don't believe there are blueprints.
