Question:

The "Ten Lost Tribes" of Israel not lost?

ok,after King Solomon passed on they split into Israel in the north with 10 tribes and Judah in the south with 2...in 722 BC the Assyrians took Israel into captivity and in the years of 605-586 BC the Babylonians took Judah...later,the Assyrians were taken by the Babylonians and they were taken over by the Medo-Persians who allowed the Jews to go home about 536 BC..thats less then 200 years from the first 10 being taken til the last of them were returned..they were all together when they were returned and less then 200 years isnt long enough for a race to lose its identity..the tribes of Judah didnt..so why do we still talk about the "10 Lost Tribes"?

Im familar with HW Armstrong and his son GT also..their Lost Tribe talk is one of my motivators for asking what I did>>I mean,if 10 tribes are in the group that was conquered by the people who took the other 2,it stands to reason, after only so short a time, along with the fact the Jews are very strong on race and genelogy and religion and keeping it fresh and alive ,that they wouldnt lose those 10 tribes identities in less then 200 years...JMO
