Question:

What colors do you use to get black?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Theoretically an equal mix of the three primary colors should produce black but in practice the pigments generally used in commercial paint produce an ugly dark brown. If you need black go and buy it, you'll only aggravate yourself.
We experience colors by the part of the light spectrum that is reflected back as opposed to being absorbed thus the three primary colors should absorb the whole spectrum and reflect no part of it back producing what we experience as the color black. White is the opposite, reflecting the whole spectrum back, absorbing nothing.
I hope this makes sense.
